To Prevent windows to download the faulty new driver you MUST rollback the old driver - see below! Rollback the driver via device manager - AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller ! But the thing is the surface laptop 2 provides only 1 usb hub so plugging in a dongle is not a long term solution. Whenever a mouse is connected directly to the laptop without a dongle, iam getting around 70-90 hz best.īUT using the same mouse with an dongle resulted in doubling the hz and ofc the fluidity using the device. So i tested it with:Īnd the results are terrible. The mouse feels really sluggish, not laggy, more like working on a 30 hz refresh monitor (and yes i checked that). Whenever i tried to work with different kind of blue tooth mice: from logitech, up to microsofts arc mouse - always the same issue. It is about the low polling rate while connecting a mouse via bluetooth directly to the laptop.
